Our school crest

The scale on the left hand side represents the necessary balance of all things in life.

Mainly, at this stage of our learner’s lives, the balance between academics, sports, the arts, family time and social time.

The C is for Chistlehurst, with the scroll of parchment for academic learning and the Shakespearean masks for the arts.

The 3 stars below have two meanings, firstly, the Trinity of God the Father, Jesus the Son and The Holy Spirit; and also the stars for our motto, ‘Ad Astra.’
Our School Motto is ‘AD ASTRA’, meaning, ‘TO THE STARS’.

This is appropriate as we strive for our learners to realise that nothing is unreachable or unachievable and if it is to the (celebrity) stars they wish to go, we not only know they can, but we equip and encourage them to do so.
